tolerant or lazy?

I really like this comment from Steve

It’s interesting that the so-called liberally-minded set who are tolerant are actually not that tolerant at all - they are simply intellectually lazy. Tolerance doesn’t seek to silence, merely to understand. Only those who have a truth framework - or at least admit that they have one - seem to be able to tolerate any other perspective than their own.
