In case you missed it: the best of…

thumbs up

Taking a cue from Sonja, I’m going to link to the most popular posts according to Google Analytics. They’re not necessarily the most “active” in terms of conversation but they’re the most often read as far as I can tell. Enjoy :) I’ll be back after the new year with exciting and life changing posts that will IN FACT revolutionize your world. ROFLOL…

Oh, and to my great happiness, my advent posts were the most popular of the whole year - I’m thinking about filling in the missing days and putting together an Advent devotional, I was pretty happy with what I wrote this year for the most part.

January - Ruth: a woman of excellence
February - Decenteralizing the Sunday service II
March - But I don’t like my chubby knees
April - Random thoughts on church structure and leadership (these types of posts were what got my husband and I “resigned” from leadership at our previous church - dangerous stuff apparently.)
May - 50 ways to love your leper
June - Bathtub musings and a bit of a rant
July - Church as organism (which I still see as church as orgasm…does that say something about me?)
August - Why I am an egalitarian
September - Knowledge and experience aside 3 (the one where I talk about what it means to me to be “emergent(ing)”) Actually, this whole series was pretty popular, just follow the links for the rest of it.
October - tied between Feminism and the chaos of labels and Why I don’t like the term modesty
November - 23 yo male cyclist chai drinking poet seeks small group
December - Advent reflections: Day 6 (also won most hits all year - thanks to the daily scribe I’m sure)

LOL … I need to figure out how to use Google Analytics. From your descriptions I think they give more useful information than the clunky tool I’m using. In any case, nicely done!

it’s pretty easy, you just set it up and it spits out a code that you put in your template in the spot it tells you to. and I think feedburner is now pretty much run by google (what’s not anymore right?) so they sort of communicate with eachother.

    Makeesha -

If I can’t beat you in the guild forum post contest, I’ll just leave nasty notes on your blog. So. Well. Have a not-so-nice New Year. There!

As a new reader here, I really appreciated this list for ‘07. I so identified with “50 Ways to Love your Leper”. Hoping you will do a follow up to how this part of your journey is going so I can take some notes. ;)
