We’re back from the Gathering. Shayel was sort of “off” all week and got sick again Thursday night. We both had a strong urge to go home so we decided to drive through the night. She got better after we got over the pass so we both have a sneaky suspicion it was altitude sickness…poor thing.
We agreed that it wasn’t fair to our kiddos to take them to the intensive so I’m staying home with them and David is heading down to Denver today to stay until Sat. night. I’m a little disappointed, I was looking forward to seeing Alan again and hearing everyone speak and catching up with folks but this is best.
I intended to blog through the Gathering but there was just TOO MUCH to process. I’ll need a few days before I can begin to unpack and sort through 3 days of amazing conversations.
All in all it was an amazing time, I just wish Shayel wasn’t feeling so yucky - poor thing.

we’re still here in Glorietta. But it was great to finally meet you and hang out. Sorry we didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. It was a rather crazy and overwhelming week.
It was crazy and overwhelming….but great. I’m so glad we got to spend some time together.
