I had a really good LOOONG conversation with my brother today - I’m wooing him to the dark side ;) I don’t yet have enough of my family being called heretics by the evangelical right so I have made it my mission…hehe…just kidding, he’s actually wrestling with stuff and he just started throwing it out there in conversation, it was fun.

Anyway, he made a really good statement that I thought was beautiful. I’ll paraphrase.

The “behaviors” that we generally associate with Christianity (prayer, learning about God, outreach, etc.) should be thought of more as God’s invitation for us to to participate with Him in the advancement of His Kingdom.
