shayel writing
Shayel’s school wanted them to practice writing their first and last name using proper upper and lowercase letters. So we practiced a bit just now using the magnadoodle. The top part was mine - I helped her a few times with the letters she has a hard time with - so she could have a visual aid…specifically with the ’s’ that she tends to write backward, the ‘y’ and the ‘e’. The bottom is all her.

That’s great! My four oldest children didn’t write their names w/o transposing a couple of letters for a while, even my first who was reading fluently by age 4. Shayel did great!
