new friends

We had a lovely time with Sonja and her hubby on Saturday. They were visiting here in Colorado and we enjoyed lunch and some time in Old Town Fort Collins. They are really neat people with a great sense of humor and a clear love for being the church. We had some great conversation and enjoyed the Colorado sunshine.
Sonja’s hubby took some fantastic pictures that I will post over at our family blog soon.

oh I forgot to mention that we rode the trolley! one of the really cool things about our town, starting in May, the trolley runs on the weekends. It’s walking distance to the “depot” from our house and then we can go into downtown and walk around and then take the trolley back..it’s awesome. Oh, and the trolley depot is in the middle of a huge park with a kids train, a playground and a lake…ok, just had to brag on our town.

Thank you God for friends near and far and the opportunity to spend time with each other.
