I must say, after a scrooge-filled, albeit well intentioned, couple of years of self righteous indignation about “Christmas” and it’s “pagan roots”, we have fully embraced this holiday and everything it brings with it…including buying many gifts for the kiddos. (although, some might think that a pair of pj’s each, a book each and a couple of toys each is not “many”, it is in our world)

We have enjoyed it thoroughly. Walking to Christmas Eve mass at the local parish was probably a highlight for me. And it’s not over yet, we still have Christmas Day to enjoy tomorrow, full of family fun.
